All of the promotions for Clerks II made me want to see this movie. It's probably not for everyone - but I've known many people in my life that could fit exactly into this movie. Also it's a great example of what can be done on a limited budget.

Poseidon DVD Review
Nothing like a good disaster at sea! Lots of CGI, but definitely entertaining. I like that they did not try to reenact everything exactly from the original movie. (Although the original was the better of the two.)

Jaws DVD Review
One of the best movies ever made - EVER! Spielberg at his best. This movie hits on such a primal fear that after watching it, it caused my mother to jump out of a pool after seeing her own shadow while swimming. This movie also caused my sister to be psychologically scarred for life - she saw the movie for the first time at a young age over 25 years ago, and to this day is petrified of the ocean! I consider this is a "must see". Most people have probably seen this movie, but if you've only seen it on TV, you haven't gotten the full effect.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels DVD Review
Great characters! And, great twists and turns in the plot. I love movies like this, but it was kind of hard to follow the storyline, and the dialect at times was almost incomprehensible.

Basic Instinct 2 DVD Review
The first one was better. The twists and turns were interesting, but the "shock-value" of Sharon Stone's character was a bit to "played out".

The Sentinel DVD Review
Has all the right ingredients for an intriguing movie: murder, love, infidelity and treason. I figured out who the "traitor" was early on, but it was still an entertaining movie with top-notch actors: Michael Douglas, Keifer Sutherland, and Kim Bassinger.

The Big White DVD Review
For some reason this kept on reminding me of Fargo (which I loved, by the way). I guess it was the location. I think Robin Williams is hysterical and one of the best comedians around - but I appreciate his talent even more when he plays a non-overtly humorous role.
